Chinese daily chemical surfactants are gaining larger global market shares with mature technology, stable quality and cost performance, exporting to Europe, Americas, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and West Asia.
The industry has entered a high-quality competition era with stricter raw material filing, safety assessment and production management standards.
Market demand for surfactants continues to recover, driven by the booming household cleaning, personal care and industrial cleaning sectors.
It raises stricter standards for surfactant biodegradability, safety assessment, labeling and digital traceability, affecting all AES, SLES, LABSA and AEO raw materials exported to Europe.
The daily chemical industry is accelerating green upgrading in 2026. Environmentally friendly surfactants with high biodegradability and low irritation have become the mainstream trend under global environmental regulations.
Basic Information:
AEO series products are adducts of natural fatty alcohols and ethylene oxide. They are non-toxic, non-irritating, and belong to nonionic surfactants. They are colorless, transparent oily liquids at room temperature.
Alias: AOS. Yellow transparent liquid or white to pale yellow granules. Very soluble in water, but tends to form a viscous gel when concentration exceeds 40%. Mild to skin, has good compatibility with enzymes, acid-resistant, alkali-resistant, and insensitive to hard water. Water hardness and electrolytes have little effect on foaming power.
White or pale yellow powder/granules; in liquid form, it appears as a transparent viscous liquid or milky white paste. It delivers strong detergency and performs well against particulate soils, oil grease soils and protein soils, with detergency improving at higher temperatures. It produces abundant, fast forming foam yet exhibits average foam stability. It has poor hard water tolerance; precipitates will form in the presence of calcium and magnesium ions, reducing detergency. Chelating agents such as EDTA or sodium citrate should be added in formulations. It features high degreasing power and relatively high skin irritation。
Compared with conventional AES, thickening-type AES has a lower viscosity and better fluidity. In addition, this product broadens the salt thickening range and is less prone to thinning back in salt-thickened systems.
A non-ionic surfactant with no cloud point and readily soluble in water.
Conventional AES exhibits good foaming performance, but produces relatively large, loose foam that lacks denseness.Foam-enhanced AES, improved on the basis of conventional AES, delivers richer and denser foam.
APG is a green non-ionic surfactant, appearing as colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid, pale yellow paste or white solid (depending on carbon chain and content). It is readily soluble in water and partially soluble in some organic solvents, with no obvious cloud point.
Brown or pale yellow viscous liquid with a characteristic odour. It is a strong organic acid, readily soluble in water (releasing heat upon dilution), and insoluble in common non-polar solvents. Stable under acidic conditions, it neutralizes with alkalis to form salts (such as LAS), and has a biodegradability rate of more than 90%. It is corrosive and strongly irritating to the skin and eyes.
